The Stinky Sneaker event, held at Skyline High School in a joint effort between the Skyline and Issaquah High School Strong4Sam clubs, was a fun, successful event raising $2500 for pediatric cancer research. Skyline's boys and girls basketball teams won the contests on the court but all teams can agree that the real success was making a dent in the fight against pediatric cancer. Thanks to our Sammamish and Issaquah community for the support of Strong4Sam.

The June 7th fundraising dinner hosted by Sip at the wine bar and restaurant was a great success, raising over $15,000 for Strong4Sam.  These funds will go toward Strong4Sam’s pledge of $250,000 to support the research endeavors of Project Violet at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Organized and hosted by Lane and Jamie Scelzi, the evening featured an authentic and delicious Tuscan meal, flawlessly executed by Sip Executive Chef Emran Chowdrey and his staff.  Service by the Sip wait staff was attentive and superb. Strong4Sam and Unexpected Productions present "A Night of Laughs" on Monday, January 25th.  Where: Pike Place Market Theater (next to the famous gum wall). 1428 Post Alley, Seattle, WA 98101 When: Monday, January 25th. Doors open 7:00pm for light appetizers and beverages. Show runs 7:45-9:00pm What: A PG-13 rated night of improv comedy for the whole family  Cost: $25 per person. The facilities, appetizers and beverages are all being donated so that 100% of ticket revenue will be donated to Strong4Sam (to support the great work of Project Violet and Fred Hutch).
